Acceptable Use Policy

Winery OS holds the working records of several wineries on shared infrastructure, some of which are filed with regulators. This policy applies to everyone who uses it — owners, staff and crew alike. The winery that signs up is responsible for making sure its people follow it.

Use it for

Running your own winery: its vineyard, cellar, inventory, tasks and the records that go with them.

Do not

• Create false or misleading records. That includes entries meant to mislead the TTB, a state agency, a tax authority, an auditor or a buyer. The ledger keeps every correction visible on purpose. Correct a mistake with a correcting entry, never by trying to hide it.
• Try to see, change or infer another winery’s records, or get round the permissions your winery has given you.
• Probe, scan or test the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission. If you find a security problem, tell us at [email protected]. We are grateful for that.
• Share your sign-in with anyone else. Each person gets their own account, so the record shows who did what.
• Overload the service, scrape it, or automate access to it except through features we provide.
• Upload malware, or anything you do not have the right to upload.
• Use the AI features to produce anything unlawful, or send them other people’s confidential information that you are not entitled to share.
• Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, including through the crew board or task comments.
• Resell, rent or give access to Winery OS to anyone outside your winery.
• Copy, decompile or reverse-engineer the software.

If this policy is broken

Stemco LLC may suspend an account, or a winery’s access, to protect the service, other wineries or the integrity of the records. Where we can, we will contact the winery’s owner first and explain why. Suspension does not delete records. You can still ask for an export.
